Thanks so much for your interest in helping The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit. There are many ways to help! From making a meal, to purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist, we always appreciate the assistance. Explore the ways to help below and we gladly appreciate whatever you can do.
Generous donations from organizations, foundations, and individuals allow us to continually pursue our mission. A monetary donation from you or in tribute to someone you love, means a comfortable bed, a home-cooked meal and peace of mind for sick children and their families.

Gathering pop tabs is a great way to raise money for Ronald McDonald House families, and is easy to organize. When you pull tabs for the House That Love Built, you expand public awareness, raise money, and help the environment!

Making a home away from home
As you can imagine, it takes a lot to make our House feel like a home-away-from-home for families in need. We are always looking for donations of food, toys, and supplies. Having these items donated offsets many of our costs.

  • A monetary donation can go to covering the cost of a family’s stay, which is typically around $200 per night.
  • We incur thousands of dollars of upkeep and renovation costs per year. A donation of money or services can help offset these costs.
  • We also use donations to keep the House stocked with food, toys, and supplies.
No matter the size, the cumulative impact of gifts from our donors allow us to keep our doors open.
